Everything here needs a grade. :P

In other words, just be patient. There are a heck of a lot of new stories here and only a few active graders.

Also, I skimmed your story and noticed a ton of spelling errors. I would suggest that you go back through and do your best to edit.

On the Origin of Pokemon by Natural Evolution

A story of a explorer going to Sevii islands where he would make a discovery and a theory that would shake the pokemon world

So...what do you think? Good idea for a story or no?

The idea of exploration is good, however, I can't really say whether it'd be a good story or not, since you didn't give much detail. A brief synopsis, or perhaps an opening chapter would be good to feedback on.

Okey so, this takes place in the 1800s, before evolution was discoverd. basically Darwin (if I cant think of another name) takes a trip around the edge of johto (which is COMPLETLY uninhabited as it was just discoverd) Right now in the world, there are only 100 or so pokemon species discoverd. On his trip in johto to colect species for the HMS smeargle. he makes discoveries. However it isnt until the Smeargle reaches the Sevii islands he begins to make real discoveries. For example similarities between squirtle and wartortle, between pidgey and pidgeotto (which have completly different names at that time). He begins to make a theory, that pokemon evolve.

Thats the jist of it. Him taking specimens home is where the pokemon catching comes in

I actually rather like the basic idea behind that. You may want to consider, however, that if you want to milk something like that for all it's worth, a structural plot beyond the basic idea of aforementioned scientific discovery could really flesh the idea out. :o

Yah I was planning to do it in a journal format, documenting his travels

So I have a really dumb question. Do I have to write seperate stories to get pokemon or is it one story that gets longer to include multiple pokemon?

You can do either. If you wanna go for more than one Poke in one story, then you just add approximate lengths together. For instance, two Easiest rank Pokes would just be 10-20k.

The answer, of course, would be that it is illegal to wear pants while writing a URPG story, and will result in your manhood license being revoked.

Yes, but please beware that they might not be graded as quickly. Older stories have first dibs and graders are always super busy.

Can someone grade my story please? Here it is: Rocky's Adventure Chapter 1: Fire vs Water
