Heh, I did a story for a Weavile that was over 100k long XD. Long stories are my forte.

I have a small question, just how do story deals work? I'm interested in doing some, but I don't what to mess it up.

It's pretty simple; Person A wants a Pokemon, Person B writes it for them. The two work out an agreement for the Pokemon captured and the Pokemon given. After the story is graded and the target captured, the two members trade.

Different people have different ways of determining value of the Pokemon they get in exchange for the story Pokemon, but most people are pretty fair one way or the other.

New forum, new Grading style. What do you guys think? I'm hoping it covers more stuff that actually matters than my previous one. I'm thinking 'Battle' could easily come under both 'Plot + Structure' and 'Narrative + Description'.

Graders have always been able to grade however they like as long as it goes over the main ideas (plot, detail, grammar). So you can grade like that if you want to, but we don't have a set format.

... I've been a Grader longer than you've been a part of the URPG, I know how it works :s I was just asking what people thought, which one's clearer/better to fit detail in/etc...

I like your new grading style better than the old one since it lets you group more relative things together without having to break it up into individual sections. And the Battle could go under whichever category it fits better to, like if it served as a plot point or just filler. I should almost combine sections like that.
