Some graders go for friends first. I generally just pick an old-ish looking one, unless I owe someone a favor and am grading one story for them. I used to just go through the older ones in the list of stories Sorocoto used to keep running, but the new story thread format is a little... different. Not that we don't appreciate it!

All of us with old ungraded stories are frustrated ST, just be patient and the graders will get there eventually

Tbh, I try not to grade stories for Pokemon that are above Hard rank, not because I'm lazy, but because I'm a bit intimidated to try. T_T

I am being mad like ST, too.

If stories are being graded from within this month, but stories from other months have not been graded I think graders should feel obligated to grade those stories. It's simply unfair for people to wait 2 months, while other wait 2 days.

Well, graders do get to choose which story they want to grade. I mean, who knows, maybe they're doing the author a favor or something. I don't think all the graders use the backlog, or even if they do, they still have the right to choose which story they want to grade.

Have you guys seen the backlog?
It's a clusterfuck of stories from everywhere. If we started to ONLY grade the oldest stories, no one would write anything because it would take a million years to grade.
