Gone fishin'
Note to Graders: I am 10, and I know my last story was freaking bad. I will do a better job this time, though. I promise. Oh, don't count this as Characters.
It was a rather average day. I was fishing Lake Verity, and I had spent millions of Poke-dollars to fly to Sinnoh, and I haven't even challenged Kanto's gym leader Brock yet. As I was saying, I was fishing. And guess what my rod was? A stupid Old Rod. My mother bought me one from a mysterious salesman, for 1,000 Poke-dollars. Overpriced, that's what it was. I was going to be saving for a long time for a Good Rod
, even. Let's get back to the point. Squirtle was sitting on my lap. I was new to the world of Pokemon, and Squirtle was my starter. It had an odd movset, and today it was angry so it was yaking
to the point I almost fainted. No, I do not have a health bar. I thought I saw a ripple in the water, finally catching on the the Wurmple tail bait I set up. I reeled it up in excitement, and it was a rather useless Pokemon- a Magikarp! But this one was unusual. I thought they were red. I realized as I looked at it: I had found a Shiny Magikarp!

Re: Gone fishin'
To be continued... (Gets bonked by tree) Oh fine, let's continue....
The shiny Magikarp splashed about hopelessly on the shore. I put the rod in my backpack, and summoned Squirtle to battle. I yelled, " Squirtle, Rapid Spin attack!!!" He obeyed, and he propelled himself in the air, tucked himself in the shell and smashed the Magikarp. What was odd was that it seemed to do nothing. Then I realized a special trait- This Magikarp knew Protect. Squirtle looked stunned as it tackled him with ease. Squirtle then blew him away with a Bubblebeam, rendering him almost a mucky pile of water, and his constant splashing ceased, and he went slower. Squirtle then Yawned, so the Magikarp would sleep. The Magikarp tried to resist the drowsiness, but sadly it gave in to its sleepy thoughts and drowsed off to sleep.
To be continued, for real this time!!!
