Tell that to I think Dust and his weavile. Or Magik and his Gengar. WC is so your gym doesn't get destroyed by everything super effective against it. Add some mix ups.

I know tiers don't have much to do with the URPG but they certainly provide a basis from which to work on.
You might want to re-check the Dragon Wild Card's. Last time I checked there were more than 2. Perhaps only 2 are allowed, but I can see Charizard, Tyranitar, Feraligatr, Aerodactyl, Gyarados being suitable Wild Cards for Dragon. But, hey, obviously not everyone will agree with me on that account. If we are to take the Dragon type and see how much of their fully evolved non-legendary Pokemon are in the OverUsed tier (or above), you have Salamence, Kingdra, Flygon, Dragonite. No to mention Tyranitar, Gyarados and Aerodactyl being a staple in a lot of competitive battling teams.
Anyway, I'm sort of ranting here so I'll end it. Just saying, having Weaville for Ghost is a lot less suited than any of the suggested Electric Wild Cards from the previous post. How can Weaville be considered Ghost in the slightest. Is it because it's sly or had a dark-appearence. No offense, but this logic seems kind of flawed to me.
Stop bitching and just defend your dojo the best you can with whatever you happen to be allowed to use. If you can't use this or that WC, too bad. You signed up for this dojo, so this dojo you'll defend.

That isn't true -.-
WC's were added just to add a little flavor. For instance, Normal type gyms are among the best gyms. Never have I ever seen a WC in that gym. Most water gyms don't run a WC either. I'll be honest, people seem to be VERY LIBERAL with WCs these days. Back in the day, it used to be restricted to almost exclusively pokemon that evolved from a pokemon of the gyms type, with a few exceptions. Dragon has always been allowed extra WCs because of the limited number of Dragon pokemon, etc.

You clearly don''t understand the meaning of the word "bitching." I have no problem defending the Dojo, and like you said, I intend to, I'm just pointing out some facts. Not trying to cause problems @_@

Bitching=complaining. You were complaining about the restricted choices of WCs. Xali is an electric gym leader who uses a WC that doesn't provide SE coverage vs Ground types, Electrics primary adversary, and he still manages to win consistently. I can rarely even remember a gym battle he's used his PZ in. You can probably just skip this WC business as long as you find a way to combat ground types, instead of relying on something that isn't weak to them.

Just thought I'd point out that for us BMGers we don't have as much money for improving our mons. Xali has two Jolteon. One with HP Grass and one with HP Ice. That counters pretty much everything combined with Choice Specs. Also, I've seen him use PZ in a lot of the logs against his Sunnyshore. I'm going to remain adamant about the Wild Cards. You may not see it, but it's the easiest way when you're other Pokemon can't really counter them o_o

BMG'ers dont have the money to even really have a chance against experienced people from PE2K. That is the purpose of the dojo league, that only newer players can challenge it. And if you want money, take up a URPG profession. If you havent got the time to do that, that stop complaining about the fact that people have enough money to do so because they put the time and effort.
And why are you complaining about a dojo you just got? If you dont want it then just say so, there were other applicants i think. Its not logical to try and become the dojo leader of a type that you think is inferior to other types...
Oh, and in my other post when i said the Dragon Dojo was allowed 2 WC, i was referring to having 2 WC allowed as Dojo Mons, instead of the standard 1.

TMs are a big help and all, but they don't win battles; You do. Same goes with WCs. You don't need some extra advantage to win, you need to learn your Gym/Dojo type inside and out. When you do that, you can come up with plans to beat their weaknesses. Electric is probably the easiest. You have one weakness to look out for. And they made a move that cancels it out, Magnet Rise. Ultimately this argument shouldn't even be happening. If you want to find out a possible WC, look at the gym owners who already have one, or ask Stinky. Don't just sit around here bickering about how unfair life is, doing that moves applicants further back in the thread where they might get overlooked. I don't know about you, but I happen to want some new Dojo Leaders.
/End Rant
Re: The URPG Dojo League - Challenge it now!
I have a large number of weaknesses or resistances to look out for. Dragon, Steel, Grass, Electric. I adapted by having Kingdra as a rent and Swampy deals with any Electric or steels.
Re: The URPG Dojo League - Challenge it now!
well from what i see is that your complaining synthesis about it being hard to defend a dojo/gym with only electric mons this is the same for every other dojo out there except with maybe normal dojo/gyms. everytype has its weaknesses i for one find it hard to defend with only bug pokemon but i find it a challenge to improve and get better. this is the same fire fire types they are weak to water yes sure there are alot more fire types with dual types out there then electric but the same applies. If you want to be a dojo leader then you have to accept that its hard to be one.

With Gen 5, your dojo will reign as king. Butterfly Dance FTW.

I lol'd at all the posts. And I had to comment on this one. Fire/bug, butterfly dance/fire dance. lolrape.
By the way, I know it'll take more than 'metagross learns magnet rise and is magnetic' to convince stinks to allow it to be a WC. Trust me. Then when gen V comes out, rotom will be a electric/water, electric/grass and electric/ice. Along with other mon being electric/bug and electric/ground. :/

I was thinking of types that are super effective to ground :'x.
Re: The URPG Dojo League - Challenge it now!
To the above complaining, 6 out of 10 of my gym mons have x4 weaknesses and I have a winning record. Shutup and take what you've been given.
