This was a weird battle. Felly declined to challenge Ash's gym, and I brought up the strange idea of rolling all the rules. Which are all listed above. Ash just dropped Felly's Pokemon one after the other.

Honchkrow killed everything with a combination of Moxie, Sucker Punch, and a crit to OHKO Tentacruel (Ok, it was on Zebstrika. Still a crit which kept Honchkrow alive to murder all the things). AKA exactly the same thing as the first gym challenge at Battle 2, except Mr. Mime tagged in for Mightyena.

Gliscorman took his time to make suggestions, but didn't slow up his sweep at all. Feraligatr got two dragon dances and everything was OHKOd except Noctowl which took a Brick Break because of Reflect.

Gliscorman wins and gets $1,500.

Nitro wasn't happy with how well he performed and decided to forfeit against Ash's Medicham with a Bulk Up and Gliscor's Rock Polish behind it.

Tentacruel and Salamence both took a turn to set up. Unfortunately for Tentacruel, Barrier couldn't save it from a couple of DDed up EQs, and the Moxiemence swept from there.

SLC hurt everything a bit, but after losing Gliscor and with both players having sent their full team, SLC decided he couldn't win and forfeit.

Blackthorn Gym Challenge

Blackthorn Gym Leader Fierce Deity Hydreigon, Kingdra, Tyranitar, Dragonite
Challenger Ash K. Kingdra, Weavile, Accelgor

Ash's speed ruled the day here. That, and Hydreigon missing a Draco Meteor. Weavile and Kingdra did a lot of damage together, only bringing in Accelgor to take a huge chunk off of Dragonite; regardless of what Dragonite hit, Accelgor or Kingdra would've been left standing to deal a KO.

Ash K. defeats Fierce Deity and earns $3,000, the Rising Badge, and TM Dragon Pulse. So apparently Ash already had this stuff.
Fierce Deity is defeated and earns $1,500.

Fortree Gym Leader Ash K. Salamence, Charizard, Murkrow
Challenger Joltik Abomasnow, Gyarados, Haxorus, Blaziken

Salamence started a rampage, but was pulled back when a scarfed Haxorus came in. Haxorus, however, couldn't break through Charizard's wall of Roosts, and the eventual confusion smack and hail damage helped Charizard pull an advantage to take out the Dragon-type. Murkrow came in to help with Blaziken, smacking it with a Thunder Wave and finishing off the slowed Pokémon.

Ash K. successfully defends and earns $3,000.
Joltik is defeated and earns $1,500.
