And DancingDodo just found out Clefable doesn't learn Double Edge by level up!

Other than that, an interesting mention was that Dewgong managed to freeze up Swampert. Infernape came in to finish off Dewgong, and Dodo would have won if he went with a Surf 2HKO but had to took a risk for Hydro Pump (didn't OHKO) which missed, therefore allowing 2 EQs and a Mach Punch to KO Lanturn.

Pokemon are placed in a grid randomly. You can only target Pokemon that are around you. Ranged attacks (eg. Flamethrower) can target any Pokemon in the same row or column as you. You can maneuver in the grid instead of using an actual move. Spread damage moves like Earthquake will damage all surrounding Pokemon around you. Teleport will move you randomly onto another tile.


I like how Alakazam Teleported himself into the Earthquake spam zone.

And it came down to Kingdra and Lapras, which reminded me of two kings in a chess game. Eventually, after setting up Dragon Dances and Substitutes, they were in range of direct target moves. But Monbrey forgot about Lapras' Waterfall, which allowed Lapras to break Kingdra's Substitute with Body Slam, then KO on the next turn.
