Thread: Who is your starter Pokemon?

Trapinch, because I love how Flygon looks and it becomes a Dragon type later on (huge dragon fan, both in and out of Pokemon).

Course, I kicked myself later on after finding out it was a mart 'mon...But I wouldn't trade it for any other starter ^^;

Chikorita, because of the flowery-dinosaur-death machine that is Meganium, and because no-one else was picking him when I joined.

And even though Meganium is pink, I still love it :).

I went with Smoochum, because it is a very overlooked pokémon, and I couldn't get Porygon or Farfetch'd T_T

I chose Elekid, because it evolves into Electivire.

Mine was Riolu. It was the hardest Pokemon on my team to write for (with the exception of Feebas. Writing that was...)
Still is a Riolu. I probably should buy a Soothe Bell soon.

I got Buneary cause I caught a shiny one in my platinum game; used it as my main in Soul Silver and it totally saved me in the battle against Lance.

Gardevoir's always pulled me through in the games once I started using her, so I started with Ralts here.

I'm a huge cat fan and I instantly fell in love with the Shinx line when D&P came out, so of course I'd pick it outta everything else! ^^

I picked Eevee because it's either going to evolve into Umbreon or Espeon, and either choice is awesome. By the way, how do you know which one you get when you use the Spirit Stone?

It's your choice. You can have one or the other. After all, in some part of the world, it's day, and in another part, it's night. Convenient eh?

Shinx, because Luxray has amazing Attack, which more than makes up for his lower-than-average speed. He even learns Fire and Ice Fang!

Tangela because at the time, it was the only Tangela starter in all of the URPG. Idk if there's one now, but he rocks as an FFA guy and he has very diverse move pool.

yanma because, erm... actually i'm not entirely sure why

although, it does have speed boost, and compoundeyes, both of which could come in handy. Plus, Yanmega seems pretty cool.
