Yeah, more or less. Kudos for meme reference, but I thought he was generally less effectual than a Part-Time Hero. I suppose a compromise might be found in the Reckless Sidekick. A lot of the time, he even pulls off one of his zany schemes, so maybe he has moar skillz than I thought!

I never though of Hide in Plain Sight as a sidekick.

Well, could we get some more opinions? If some people could post their own suggestions, and vote on the already-suggested tropes, we can get a decisive conclusion on what trope describes HiPS.

I vote for pidge's "Hidden In Plain Sight"

I rather like Pidge's Pretty Cool Guy trope xD

I have more or less equal votes across the board for what trope HiPS (Hide in Plain Sight) is, but Pidge's suggestion of the obvious and fitting Hidden in Plain Sight trope takes the cake.

Next on the list... *reads, comes to end of list* ... Is an arbitrarily and randomly chosen "volunteer."

This is much better than it sounds.

Wait, Derian abuses pseudos? That's the first I've heard of it... I thought he went Ice almost exclusively because of Froslass pwning most 4x-ice-weak dragons in one hit.

Really, he's getting a lot of the tropes I expected for Ash K. or HiPS. Maybe I've got the wrong idea of some of these guys... O_o

Any more suggestions? So far I'm looking at Cool Loser or Fighting Narcissist as the likely winners.

Once again, I must agree with Alaska: based on Derian's cool ginge fro and his love of video games, CoolLoser suits him well :D
