Thread: Trainers' Estate: Water Wing: Manaphy Hall(way)

Manaphy Hall

The hall is dimly lit and painted a dark blue to resemble the deepest ocean habitats of its patron Pokémon. The temperature is also kept fairly low compared to other locations in the estate. The entire floor of the hallway is a long, continuous aquarium. If you look down through the glass, you'll see it contains many sea-based Pokémon such as Tentacool and Goldeen. A small feeding system is attached ,so if the residents wish to aid in the care of the Pokémon, it is easy to do so.

As Halas walked through the barely lit hall, it began to get colder. Looking at the glass floor he could see a school of Goldeen swimming below. He smiled as he walked over towards the feeding station and dropped a poffin down the hole.

"Bon Appétit," he spoke softly to the fish as they swam toward the Pokemon treat. "Oh god this'll be amazing!"

He continued to stroll down the chilly hallway and finally reached his destination, the room he will stay in for, who knows how long.

"Well, here we go," he said as he reached for the handle of the door.

Jesse stood in the Manaphy Hall Hallway, the floor, was made of a thick, glass and, under the flooring where thousands of water type Pokémon where Swimming. Many different colors where under him. The walls of this hallway where a fine dark blue, and at the corners of the hallways were some Manaphy statues, Jesse walked up to one of the statues, and admired it. Jesse had never lived in a place as fancy as this but was stoked to be able to be here.

Jesse didn’t see hardly any people in this hall but that would be good, he would be able to focus on what he needs too. Jesse approached the end of the hall and read the sign by the door; it read ‘Jesse’s Room’

“Well, I guess this is me!” Jesse said excitedly, as he opened the door.

Ryan walked into the hall, lugging his heavy suitcase onto the glass floor. He first realized how instantly cold it was in this hall, and how dim the lights were. He stepped forward. Noticing the wheels on his suitcase rolling much easier than in the courtyard, Ryan looked down.

"Awesome," he said to himself, calling his favorite pokemon out of it's ball. A large Pelipper popped out. "Wendy, look at this!" he said pointing at one of the many Goldeen swimming under the layer of glass. The pelican pokemon dove at it, not noticing the glass, and jammed up against said glass in the process. Hoping nobody saw that, he returned Wendy to her Pokeball, and hurried to his room.

Passing rooms labeled Jess and Halas, he saw a door marked "Ryan", and turned the handle.

Walking back to his room, Halas was walking next to his Typhlosion and was going to finish unpacking. He just reached the entrance to the Manaphy Hall and began walking towards his room.

His Typhlosion was different than all others being blue, the blue flame matched the walls color.

He just opened the door to his room when he heard a loud bang coming from next door. Both Halas and his Typhlosion ran to the labeled 'Jesse' and opened the door revealing a boy and a Bibarel.

Serenity had wandered out of her Hall and found herself in Manaphy Hall. She was soon overcome with excitement about the aquarium.
"Ooooh! I need to get a closer look.!" Then she laid down on her stomach (which her upper chest made difficult) to look down. Her face was pressed against the glass as she watched the pokemon.

He ran up behind her and was nearly out of breath. “Phew ahhh you haa forgot hehe your earring." he said as he opened his palm and the earring was in his palm. It had pierced his skin a bit, blood trickling off the sides. “OhIm so sorry."

Once she heard his voice, she rotated so that her back was on the ground, then sitting up. "Oh, no! Are you okay? I'm the one who should be sorry." Serenity said, pulling out a band-aid from her hammer space as she stood up.

He smiled and laughed. “Its ok. Barely felt it." he said as he handed her the earring after cleaning it off with his sleeve. He was glad she had a band-aid though.

She grabbed his wrist and carefuly placed the band-aid on the wound. "There. Thanks for bringing it to me. I've had them for years." Serenity smiled. "Your name is...K...K...I can't remember. I'm horrid with names."
Sapphire watched, curious as to why he had not said anything about her being on the floor.

He laughed slightly. ”K.I.R.Y.U. KI-RY-U" he said,sounding it out to help her with it. Some people did have a problem pronouncig his name. He looked at her and cocked his head. “Thank you but umm did you trip and fall?" He extended a hamd out towards her to help her up.

(she had stood up already)
"So Ki, like unlocking stuff. Ri, like to 'read' a book. Then 'you'. Got it. Remembering it is the hard part." She thought aloud before getting back in the position he had found her in. "Did you say something about tripping?"

(Ok gotcha)
He looked at her a little oddly but shook it off. A interesting way to remember his name he'd give her that. “So any reason your on the floor like that?" he said looking down at he feet, wondering what was so interesting.

"Because it makes you feel like you're underwater with all the pokemon. Instead of admiring them from a distance." Serenity said in a daze. Two remoraid swam by beneath her, followed by a Lumineon. "give it a try" She told him as she looked up briefly.

What did he have to lose? He sat next to her laid on his stomach. She was right, the view was amazing. Such beauty was overwhelming. “You know we can't stay here all day right?" he said with a chuckle. They wee in the middle of a hallway.
