Thread: Trainers' Estate: The Water Wing: Central Hub

Water Central Hub/Courtyard

The water courtyard is the soothing oasis of the Trainer Estate. It serves to combine and strengthen the bonds of the trainers and pokemon alike. The huge, circular room is painted with every shade of blue imaginable, in gradients and hues flowing into one another that can make you feel like you're underwater. An adequately sized, but deep, pond is set in the middle, resembling a Japanese Koi Pond. Goldeen, Seaking, Finneon, Lumineon, and of course, Magikarp, happily inhabit the pond but are not for capture. A statue of Suicune is set in the middle of the pond with a Statue of Manaphy on top of it. Of course they are allowed to be fed. Small dispensers are set near the pond to deposit pokemon food and feed them. Benches are set near the pond and also scattered around the Central Hub. The courtyard also contains many fountains.

With his Typhlosion and Electivire trailing behind him, Halas entered The Water Wing's Courtyard. He had passed through here at least four times, but never slowed and looked around. Stopping for the first time to wait for his slow Pokemon, Halas realized that his hall's legendary was looking right at him, floating above Suicune.

"Come on you two!" Halas called to his Pokemon, "I want to get to the room today." The Pokemon just then entered the room and stopped right in front of him.

Halas then gestured for the Pokemon to keep going. They seemed to understand and continued to move forward with Halas behind. Upon walking a couple of feet Halas felt the need to go to the bathroom.

"Wait up guys." Halas said to his Pokemon, "I want to go take a shower. So that means Power Line might need to go back in his ball."

Halas' Electivire was young enough to not be able to control its flow of electricity. It nodded as if it understood. Halas raised its ball in the air and pressed the middle button, releasing a crimson light that engulfed the humanoid Pokemon. In a matter of seconds the Pokemon was gone.

Halas then pushed the ball into place on his belt as he grabbed another ball. He threw the other ball in front of him and in the normal crimson light a dog-like Pokemon appeared.

"Hey Khonsu!" Halas said petting his Umbreon, "You're going to take a bath with me and Burn now."

The Umbreon replied by saying its name. Its blue rings shined brightly as the trio walked into the boy's bathroom.

Derian entered the water courtyard, and was glad to really get a good look at the place. It was beautiful, almost awe inspiring. Clearly a haven for the water element, and it was clear he would like it here. He could easily see himself coming here just to relax and think, and he'd definitely bring his Pokémon, particularly his water ones, here to relax as well.

It appeared to be very mostly empty at the moment, however.

"Wow..." Was all she could say when she entered the circular room. Sapphire immediatly waddled over to the pond and looked inside. Amethyst jumped off her fellows' head and on to the ground.

“Hmmm it's a bit dark. That's perfect! Thats what the secret requires. Ok Takeshi!" he said as he threw his pokwball into the air and releashed his Empoleon. “Look for a switch under there." The Empoleon gave a salute and dived into the dark waters. Kiryu walked to the bench and sat down. “Care to join me?"

"Sapphire, you too please!" Serenity called out. Her pokemon dove into the water behind the other one. She walked over to the bench and sat down in a very un-ladylike position.

“Pocky?" he asked, extending a box of rawstberry pocky to her. He had hoped Takeshi had found something of interest.

"I'm actually not particularly hungry right now." She said as she got up and walked back over to the pond. Serenity got down on her knees and used one hand to hold her hair back. Finally, she stuck her face about an inch from the water's surface.

Suddenly,Takeshi comes out from the other side of her and waddles quickly over to Kiryu. It made a bunch of shrill noise that gave Kiryu some idea of what to do. He finished a box of pocky and took off his hoodie and jeans. All that was left with was his swim shorts he alwaydls wears underneath. “Takeshi found the switch but he can't press it."

Sapphire swam up as well and said that she couldn't either. "Make sure Kiryu comes up safely, okay." Serenity instructed before pulling out a rope. "Here, if anything goes wrong, tug on it, and I'll pull you up." She said, handing one end to him. "Safety first."

“Not to sound ungrateful but where did you get the rope?" he asked quizzically. She was like a Pokermon Rangers dream come true with all this gear.

"I like to be prepared, that's all." she smiled before continuing. "But didn't anyone ever teach you not to question the power of an anime girl's hammer space?!" Serenity yelled.

He flinched a bit. He made a mental note and dove into the water. It was deep. Deep enough to hold kyogre maybe. He felt better about Takeshi and Sapphire at his side. He had them show where the switch was.

Serenity held tightly onto the rope, and looked into the water. She loved to swim and was pretty good at it too, but was terrified of deep water. So all she could do was watch, and be ready to help in case of an emergency.

Kiryu saw the switch by the statues base. No wonder they couldn't press it, it was lever hidden by seaweed. He pukked the lever down and looked around. In an instant, the pool was illuminated. I gave a beautifly errie glow. It was magnificent except that Kiryu ha to breath and nearly forgotten. He tug the roppe hard. Not hard enough to pulk her in but enough that she gets the point.
