Thread: Trainer Stats -Accurate Record Keeping-

Here you will post your stats for the URPG. You will create your own thread and title it however you want. You only get 3 post for your stats: 45,000 characters is plenty. For those that are new, look at other stats to have an idea how you might want to make yours look. Listed below are the basics that your Trainer Stats need to include:

Your Name
Instant Messenger you have (MSN, YIM, and/or AOL)
How much money you have
Your win/loss/draw record
Your current position(s) {ex. Trainer}
List of current Pokémon and how many battles it has participated in
Any items you currently have
Any badges you currently have

You must keep track of you own stats and edit them after every change. Nobody is responsible to keep track of your stats except yourself. You are responsible for having correct information in your stats.

It is very important to keep your battle record updated as much as possible. The record will include:

-Regular fights.
-Challenger Gym Leader Fights
-Evolving battles
-Tournament battles
-Defender Gym Fights


For those that aren't aware these is from the thread regarding the rules to your Trainer Stats. More specifically the bolded part refers to accurately keeping track of the battles you have participated in. However, over time it has become obvious that not everybody has been keeping track of their stats accurately. In fact a couple of people have already been investigated because they were believed to have been cheating, when in truth, it was nothing more then bad stat keeping.

As such, I'd like to remind you all that you are Required to keep track of your stats accurately; it's not the job of anybody official or otherwise to do so for you. And in not doing so you risk getting in trouble and wasting time better well spent by those who have to look into the matter.

For everyone sake involved do your best to not only keep track of your stats, especially in regards to battles done, TMs and other moves bought and where you obtained the Pokemon; but also try to keep your stats orderly and presentable as to allow other members and officials to sort through your stats without confusion.

Are we allowed to split up our W/L record, as long as we track all of our battles in some fashion?

Because I like to keep my gym records separate from my normal record.

Does this mean that they should all be recorded, or that they must be recorded separately? My W/L/D record includes all of the above, but it would be impossible for me to tell you how many of each came from evo battles or something.

It is fine as long as you are keeping them accurately.

They don't have to be seperate at all, as long as you are accurately keeping track of the battles you have participated in, it's perfectly fine. I would suggest however keeping FFAs seperate from your battling record.

That was merely the headline of the thread which contains the rules regarding your trainer stats. No, nobody is to post their stats here.

You can keep your stats on PE2K, BMG or any other site you wish, we merely want you to make sure everything is accurate.

What should I do if I have no idea of the record of any of my mons or my overall record? Should I start counting over now, and risk causing more confusion than necessary?

There should never be a point where you don't have a clue what your overall record is. Never.

At that point, I'd restart my record and state somewhere in my stats the date I did so.

Do we have to include 1v1 Basics in our records? I think it would incorrectly skew records.

Sure, it'd make you look bad if you counted them as normal battles. Just make a different record section for the 1v1 basics and normal battles?
