The cold. That was all that I could think about as I sat in a tree, waiting for trouble.

"Being a Super Hero is hard," I muttered to myself. "Especially during the colder months."

The wind whooshed by me in a quick gust, catching my suit's wing flaps and making them flutter. The wind was pushing in a different direction than it was before, which was extremely odd. The wind never changed so fast. It seemed to be pushing me to glide over to somewhere that I didn't know yet. I decided to trust the wind and glide.

I leapt out of the tree, letting the wind pick me up and carry me to wherever I may go. Even the slightest breeze was enough to carry me to trouble.

As I neared a clearing, a peculiar sight came to my large yellow-contact eyes; a woman was sitting on the ground with her eyes closed.

She had pale skin and darkish brown hair. She was wearing dark green clothing that matched the surrounding pine forest.

I tried to fly over her, but a peculiar force that felt like the wind at my face funneled me right towards her. It was all just as well as I couldn't take my eyes of her; she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

I flapped my wings a few times, softening my decent.

She turned her head and our eyes met. She had dark green eyes that matched the dress she was wearing to the exact pigmentation. She stared into my oddly colored yellow eyes and we found a mutual understanding. The Gliding Super Hero and the girl as cold as winter, hotter than the sun and what is to be a friend for a long time.

She then proceeded to chastise me for a few accidental misunderstandings and such.
