Thread: Passing the Torch and Other Lame Metaphors

As some of you may know, I have just begun college/university/whatever you choose to call it in your country of origin/residence. Given that I plan to be a responsible student and focus on my studies(at least for the first semester, amirite guys?), I realized it would be very unfair and selfish of myself to hold certain positions in URPG while my time is quite limited.

Thus, I am stepping down from my position as Head Ref and I have chosen Monbrey as the new Head Ref. Cheers guys, try not to explode or something in my absence.

Hopefully you'll stick around, WTP. You've done a good job in your reasonably short time as head ref, and I'm sure he'll do a great job too.

So who's the new ref?

I initially thought this was a joke thread. Wow, that's.....I'm speechless. Best of luck in university, man. Thanks for all you've helped us with as head ref.

I know you're not completely leaving but I'm going to give you a sappy reply anyway. You've always been a great mentor to me, taught me how to battle and how to ref. You clearly did a good enough job to think I deserve this job, so the credit goes to you.

Thanks man. Hopefully you do as well as I did in my first semester of uni. Lets not look at the others ^.^
