So, needless to say, since I have taken over this position as your so-called, "Head Ref", there have been a few minor changes. I added a few battling rules, removed a few of the more unpopular ones, changed former rules regarding FFA's etc. Well, I got bored of fixing small things so I hatched an idea far more radical and (insert EXTREME adjective) than that kind of stuff. I present to you...
THE NEW, ACCURATE REF ENCYCLOPEDIA
As the Ref Pedia was before, there was that rather large and unsightly disclaimer at the top proclaiming that the information there was unreliable and actually condemned you for looking at the post. I had originally considered just removing the unreliable posts altogether, but that wasn't nearly badass enough, so I decided that it would be better if it was actually just the result of compiling move/ability data from all the major pokemon information sites. It is quite possibly the first, complete guide of its kind.
Now of course, the way I've been describing this project, it sounds like I did a lot of work. That simply isn't true. I actually played a very minor roll in this honestly. I, of course, was a resource in this research, proofread the final project, and helped test some of the more unclear moves and other various battle-scenario interactions. The real champion of this project however, is our very own Webmaster. He put countless hours into this project, compiling and rewriting descriptions for moves to make them as clear as possible for the reader. He even developed the idea of "tags" for move descriptions to show if they work through sub, can be snatched, and other various, commonplace move interactions.
So, without further ado, I'm promoting Webbie to the vacant Senior Ref position. After what I put him through with this project, its really the least I can do. I didn't ask him if he wanted the spot, he simply doesn't have a choice in the matter =P
Note: This is not some joke thread, the ref pedia is seriously updated ._.
