After unanimous agreement within the staff, the trade regulations are being removed, after several members have expressed the feeling that they are much too strict in certain situations, and greatly hold back the viability of Story Deals and trades between Pokemon with large numbers of EM's. However this will also mean that only Moderators and Officials will be allowed to approve trades from now on, to keep a closer eye on what trades are still made.
We will be returning to a system similar to what we had before, in which the trade will be approved by a Staff member if it is deemed reasonable using a very intricate and highly complicated system of common sense. Keep in mind that we will likely be a little more strict than we originally were, to prevent the original need for the regulations returning. The current system should still act as a general guideline for what will be appropriate in most cases.
The restriction on Story Deals will also be lifted. Observation of the story section has shown that people aren't mass-writing in the manner they have done in the past, which resulted in huge distributions of rare Pokemon. The large number of members writing their own stories is promising, and we want to encourage that.
