Even if everyone visibly present is of age, mature content is still not allowed in the URPG.

In terms of enforcement, we obviously uphold the rules on all of our boards as well as our various URPG chats. Additionally, these rules apply to chats in which battling is taking place, including immediately before, during, and immediately after the battle. Though sometimes not necessarily in our jurisdiction, inappropriate behavior such as sexual harassment is always punishable when conducted by one of our members.

I'd also like to point out that you guys can and will get banned from BMG's forum if they find you to be sending nudity to or sexually harassing minors, even if you are just 'joking'. -Not to mention URPG.

Keep your junk out of our blasts, or you will be kicked. At minimum.

Obviously, if anyone can't handle what we link or talk about in the chats, they don't deserve to be on the internet.

It should be common sense to be respectful to minors and everyone else when interacting with groups of people.

Seriously, this is not a big deal, guys. Keep sexual content out of the blasts. It's not really that hard. Posting pictures and links (etc) wasn't allowed prior to this announcement either. Reading forum rules has been a part of URPG since signing up. This is not anything new.

We're trying to make this family safe for everyone, and I personally would appreciate it if everyone helped uphold this respectable standard so all members can enjoy URPG.

This isn't about limiting your free speech (not that you have any, ya limey Englishman) it's about protecting younger players who may or may not be morons (like me). If you really, really want to talk about some godawful furry bukake porno or whatever you people are into, nobody's stopping you from making private blasts/group chats or going to private chat. Hell, if you really want to, make [URPG After Dark] or something and only invite older members.

And I'm tired of whenever I try and bring something up, I'm immediately being difficult. Before that conversation I posted, I tried to say that it doesn't actually say ANYWHERE in the URPG rules that the blast chats are expected to follow the BMGf rules as well (because when they were made, we didn't even have blast chats), and I get "[16:43:23] [URPG Chat]: (wintervines) stop being difficult" as a response. I try to be helpful, and I'm treated bitterly. Every single time, I'm treated like I don't know anything. Yeah, ok, the staff do a lot, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to break anyone's back to have one of the multitude of staff edit one measly sentence into the rules.

It's not the PG-13 thing I'm protesting, it's the fact that the staff are creating a double standard by enforcing it. It's not against URPG rules to talk about sexual content, it's against BMGf rules. By saying "URPG must follow BMGf rules in the blast chats", you have to enforce everything, including ROM discussion, advertisements of other sites and whatever else. You can't just pick and choose.

This is all coming from someone who doesn't particularly care for the sexual content. I don't revel in it, but I'm not offended by it. So assuming I'm one of "you people" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) is pretty rich of you considering you probably talk about sexual stuff in the chat more than I do.
