I need two quick questions answered:
- My Poliwag has particapated in five battles, but one of them hasn't finished. Can I still evolve it, or do I have to wait?
- Also, I have recently obtained AIM and would like to do some battles, but I still have three battles going on here. Can I start an AIM battle or do I have to wait?

I think you have to wait til 5 matches are over, unfortunately.

You have to finish at least one of your 3 battles before you can start.

Oh well. I am sure I will be able to wait :)

You have to wait till that battle is finished. Or alternatively, if that battle is taking too long, you can perform a battle on AIM(which is faster) and have it evolved. However, in that (long battle) it still remains as a Poliwag.

You can have as many AIM battles as you want, but since you've got AIM now, you're only allowed to have 1 forum battle. You can start straight away with the AIM Battles, but I strongly suggest you to finish those three battles, and make sure you only have like 1 forum battle from then afterwards.

Ok, thanks for the extra information. But my AIM is using this one sitre that I am just trialling. If it doesn't work and remove my AIM, can I go back to have three forum battles?

That'd be perfectly fine. But AIM is free, Click here. The download button is in there. Would take a few minutes I think, but well worth it. There are also alternative sites that support AIM(You can sign in with your AIM Username/etc via there). Meebo or Trillain are a couple. However, if they still don't work for you, yes, you may go back to the default forum battles(3 at a time) deal.

It's actually Trillian, and it requires a download as well. Meebo and Aim Express are the only two in-browser ones I'm familiar with.

And I'm pretty sure that a declaration has been made (in this thread itself) that it's 5 concurrent battles w/o a messenger, and 3 if you do have AIM.

Oh, so that means I can start using my AIM :) Sweet

What about the question I asked earlier.
Are Smokescreen and Sweet Scent banned in the tournaments?

If evasion/accuracy moves are banned then yes. If they don't specify then ask the person in charge, or assume they are allowed.

What about Dig? Its an attack move but it also evades

It doesn't raise evasion; it simply makes them immune to most attacks for one turn. Fly and Dive work the same way, and they're perfectly legitimate.

He was mocking you.... Dig doesn't raise/drop evasion/accuracy so you can use it.

I assumed that means Double Team, but are Accuracy-altering moves like Sand Attack considered evasive, especially since some attacking moves like Mud-Slap also drop accuracy?
