That's correct, though why we have an invented item I honestly have no idea. I would assume it's to match the prices; Metal Coat costing $3,000 as per the other type-enhancing items; Metal Wax only costing $2,500, equal to most of the other Trade Evolution items.

Yes, that seems to be the case.

Way back when: Trade Evolution Items were $2,200; Type Modifiers were $4,500. Metal Wax was an item I made up to account for the larger price difference between helds and evolution items.
