So, is this Double Elimination tourney going to happen? It seems it got all hyped up in interest and then nothing's come of it ):

There are too many tournaments around already. At least, at the moment there is. LET'S NOT ADD TO THEM.

unless i'm missing something it's only the mini tourney that's happening at the moment

also WAR-wise, urpg'ers should spread out more teams wise, having the majority of urpg on one of two teams was pretty boring

We've had about 10 different tourney ideas get hyped up. Most people are sick of running tournaments that go on forever because of member inactivity. Double Elimination - you're out if you win and if you lose. That's the only way we'll get one finished in a timely manner.

Who's the most active! it doesnt matter how many wins/losses you get but, whoever battles the most wins the tourney!

OK, so everyone's a bit that we're getting inactive. So how anout this:

This is much more simple than my last idea. It's a URPG league. It's like any league in sport like football or rugby (yes I'm English, live with it). All the players are categorised into leagues of about twenty depending on their join date (to give a rough measure of their ability).

Within each league trainers each have a battle once a fortnight. The winner gets three points, the loser gets 1, a draw gets 2 for each player. The top three in each league at the end of the year get moved up, the bottom three get relegated, therefore eventually getting leagues representive of ability. The matches get no extra money although for each position you are from the bottom of the league you get £250.

It isn't a tourney, just a way to make people more active (because if a match isn't started within the fortnight then both players are deducted £500 or £1000)

URPG: "Here's some more tournament ideas!"

Can I host the second gameboy tourney yet?

We should have a tourney where we all sit quietly and don't complain about anything for a week.

I could have sworn I said what was we were doing for the next tourney several weeks ago and that we needed to finish Game Board first. I must not have seeing as nobody has become any closer to finishing it. That, or perhaps that you people don't listen -.-

Of course the person who's winning would want to finish Game Board :3 Tbh, I think you and Roulette should just duke it out for first and second, since it's seen barely any activity recently.

Xali and I already finished. We need the third place person to finish. Then we can move onto the next 3 month ordeal.

There's twice as much elimination. Twice as much is known as "double". We eliminate both the winner and the loser, which is two people instead of one, or double the number of people. I know, it was very, very witty of me. I'm not surprised you didn't get it.
