What moves could I learn with my Starter Pokemon, could I learn all of the moves it can at that evolutionary stage or do I have to level it up? And if you do have to level it up how do you calculate when it levels up?

Every Pokémon knows all the moves it learns by level-up already, and you have to buy TM's and Egg Moves, etc.

2 stage Pokémon (Abra -> Kadabra -> Alakazam) take 5 battles (don't have to be wins) to evolve each stage. 1 stage Pokémon (Magikarp -> Gyarados) take 7 battles to evolve. When Pokémon evolve by stones or happiness, you have to get the required amount of battles and buy the stone or w/e at the Pokémart.

Adding to the above post, higher-evolutions can use all the previous evo's level-up moves, but not vice versa. So, for example, Arcanine can use Flamethrower naturally, but Growlithe can't use Extremespeed.

If you go to the 'Stories' forum then double-click next to your story's name, you should be able to edit the title. That, or go into your story, then click 'Edit Post' under the first post. You should be able to change it from there. :)

Alright folks, serious post time again.

I'm heading off til like mid February/start of March. This is a decision I've been kinda wrestling with for a bit of time. Personally speaking this can be too distracting at times, and I don't really have the patience for it right now. I got some stuff I need to attend to, and take care of so.

I don't plan on dropping my gym, and I'll have my PM box linked to my email, so if you're really dying for a gym battle send me a PM, and I'll see if we can work a time out. I might stick my head on BMG, or come on AIM from my phone every now and then, but for the time being kinda consider me dead. Alaska has my facebook, so for the all of *counts* two of you that might care she can tell you I'm not dead or anything irl.
