My original username was Pidgeot79, which was shortened to Pidge when I joined BMG, because that's what everyone called me. Pidgey originally being called Pidge, which I found out just months ago on Bulbapedia, is purely a coincidence.

I have a question ... although this may sound ridiculous, but why did the fossils, Porygon and others be denied to be starters?
I mean, other system that allow an all move from the start allow'em

Fossils can be bought in the mart and found in the underground. Making them starters wouldn't be best. Porygon and other mons of that category would either have to be traded to you, found in the National Park, or written through stories. Those have to be earned rather than just having them as starters. As for Psuedos, I'm not sure but they could be bought in the mart as well. And your technically not allowed ALL moves, just its basic level up moves, not its TM/HM/MT/SM/BT moves.

I know that, I said that systems that DO allow every move let people have them as starters

Because those pokemon are of the higher ranks when it comes to stories, you gotta work for pokemon of that difficulty, except the ones you can buy in mart

Also what other systems are there? ASB?

Thank you for the explanation Fawkes, well, mainly ASBs all over the internet, POL and WFL but yes

Actually the correct answer is that the original creators of the URPG were Neanderthals and didn't quite know what they were doing, considering you can just buy fossil Pokemon and Dratini and company from the Pokemart, although other 'mart 'mons can be starters as well. Well really my guess is because of flavor reasons, kind of a bad reason.
