What I mean is that there are opportunities to become gym leaders, a member of the elite, a ref, a poke ranger, and even the champion. I just didn't know if there was a way to set up a Team Rocket section of the forum. We could have someone be the boss, four executives, and then countless grunts. I can see it as something similar to how one catches pokemon, such as they must write a rp and a ref of some kind determines if what they are doing is successful or not. Also, this could link into the national park, seeing as how it is a mysterious place with many unique pokemon and artifacts, both of which Team Rocket would love to get their hands on with. I have other ideas, but would like to lay them down in a more organized, coherent plan.

Well, you can write a story in which you're in Team Rocket. I'm not sure if you can RP as a Rocket Grunt in the Park, but you could try.

What you're suggesting is similar to another PE2K event, though... ;)

To enter a contest, just go to the Coordinator Station and see if anyone else is looking for people to do a Contest. If not, or if there's no-one doing the particular style you want, then you can post there and see if other people will join :)

There are many ways to get Pokemon - you can buy them in the mart, write stories, RP in the National Park and there are also special events that happen at times, such as Auctions, Lotteries, Gift Stations (where you may give one of your Pokemon to another user).

Ok, thank you. Oh, what PE2K event is that? *I have never been to PE2K, just here at Bulbagarden.*

Should I go to PE2K in order to become more acquainted with how this site should be ran? Also, I don't have YIM or AIM. should I get, or is it just more convenient to have them?

I think he's referring to WAR

You should download AIM if you want to be more active in URPG, as the majority of it is done over AIM.

If I lose a battle, does that still count towards the evolution of my Pokémon?

Anyone else having issues signing up for AIM lately? I tried yesterday, and either the site was down or when I did get to the sign-up page, the word verification image wouldn't show up. Today, I downloaded the AIM program (I use Trillian normally), and the verification word and audio won't show/play.

tl;dr: AIM signup's acting stupid, and I have no idea why.

Well, you could always just keep trying. AIM is most used in URPG.

When you win a battle, you get $1,000. When you lose, you get $500. After the battle logs have been posted, you can add the money to your Trainer Stats.

The amount changes for Gym Battles, Elite Four/Champion/LD Battles and Tournaments.
