What program do you use to make these?
For the initial process of putting the project together, I use Paint.NET. It's a fantastic, free tool with an easy-to-use interface and many features. What can't be done with the base program can be done with plug-ins and the website I use for the second part of the process.
The second part of the process involves adding various effects with a website called iPiccy. This is where I mostly do the rounding of corners, adding of borders, and shadowing of shadows. There are also many visual tweaks I do here, one of my favorites being the scanline, which adds some faint lines to the product to add that little extra flair. The website has recently made some features members-only, but I'm happy with it nonetheless.
How long does it normally take you to make these?
It really depends on the product. I can suddenly get overcome with an idea and set down to make it in less than two hours. Sometimes it takes me much longer than that. Sometimes it's even taken me shorter. It mostly depends on how complicated the product is, how much time I have to make it, and how well I understand the order. However, while I make these pretty quickly, it may take me a bit to actually start on the project.
What kind of images are good for requests?
Let's assume here that you aren't talking about a background (most of the time it's best to give a description of that rather than a specific image).
A bad image would be one that's low quality, smaller than the product itself, is very busy (unless you just want it cropped and edited with visual effects), or is very very big and can't be resized properly without losing quality.
A good image would be one that is transparent (meaning it has no background, not even just white, though white is perfectly fine as well). And... that's really it, as long as it doesn't have any of the qualities of a bad image.
How can I contact you?
I would prefer a VM (through my profile). A PM is fine as well, especially if you don't want people to know about the order yet for whatever reason.
What if I want a specific font?
If you can find a reliable download for it, by all means, link it to me! Good sites are 1001 Free Fonts, Fontspace, or Dafont. If you have a specific style of font in mind but don't feel like looking for one, just tell me and I'll find it for you.
See ya! Have a nice day :D
Wait! Who are you talking to? Who am I!?
You don't exist, have a nice life :3c
