Hey all, I have a sort of rule-related question:

When people are playing in a game where nameclaiming is disallowed, is it unethical for them to change their avatar to a picture of their character? Even if they never suggest or imply in-thread that this is why they did it, it sorta feels wrong to me. Am I looking at it wrong?

I have the same view on it, so no. X3; Even if they know the series and switched it seemingly randomly (i.e when not under suspicion), it's still... ><

I did it once, but that was in game where name claiming was allowed, so... Honestly, I don't see a huge problem with it, but I can see where it would be.

It could be a problem if someone realizes it. But I mean, if no one notices, I don't see a HUGE issue, but it could become a problem.

Yes it is. If I noticed this as a host I'd make sure to inquire about it.

@Master Mew; It's probably best to ask the host before doing it

Or maybe people can respect the host and the rules and not try to find loopholes in every little thing when they know fully-well what they're doing isn't in good faith.

If you even have to question whether or not it would be ethical, it probably isn't.
