I was actually surprised with how little hate mail I got on Xbox live. Maybe fighting game players are nicer than fps players.
@Mintaka; Oh well, you get used to it when you get it at least weekly. They mostly make these claims for doing impossible thing, including being above the current max level. I never delete these or any other comments though. I do, however, reply to each and every one of them.
I had to deal with hate comments too - like once at Pedia - and yeah, they can be annoying, intimidating (in my case that was it), or both. Humor comes when the hate mail is REALLY ridiculous that you're wondering if the other person actually was serious with it.
Yeah, that kind of thing I can take with outrageous laughs. Like, it won't matter if they are serious or trolling, the only difference is that it's slightly sad if they are serious.
No, instead, I need to see people be wrong and go on a giant tl;dr spree to prove their points wrong. I do enjoy it, until they insist on their rightness despite being completely proven wrong. At that point I just take points that aren't exactly true so I can just move on with it.
