Thread: Server upgrade downtime

Barring unforeseen circumstances we'll be changing forum server later tonight (around 3AM Eastern Daylight Time), in about 5-6 hours.

This upgrade should take about six hours. The forums will not be accessible during that time.

We hope to see you all soon on our brand new server!)

Ermmm, nothing changed. What exactly does changing servers do?

Changing servers doesn't alter the site physically. It just let's the site use a different server that's hopefully better and will make the site run better.

I will admit that I'm still having the issue of the forum not loading completely sometimes and forcing me to refresh. I hate this.

It happens anywhere on the forum. The main index, threads, boards, anywhere.

Hmmm. First thought, could you please clear your cache and cookies for Bulba, then let me know if you're still getting that. Could be something with trying to load stuff from the previous server still.

Well, it doesn't seem to happen on profile pages, but that's it. And I'm afraid that as computer literate as I am, I don't know how to clear a cache or cookies. ._.

What browser are you using? It depends on what browser you use on how to clear your cache.

Here's a link with instructions on how to clear your browsing history on Firefox, try that and see if it works. It has instructions on how to delete your cache, cookies, etc.

Oh, this. I've done that before in the past, actually. But it was awhile ago, so I guess I forgot. Heh, sorry lol.

Cool! I like the new activity bars on our profiles!

The new activity bar is a nice touch. Makes stalking alot easier. not that I stalk anyone
