Recently, several Pokémon fansites have received what is believed to be letters from lawyers charged with enforce Nintendo's intellectual property. These letters threatening sites with legal action and requested the removal of Nintendo-copyrighted material. We realize that some in the fandom are upset by these measures.

While we support open discussion of news issues, Bulbagarden will not tolerate protests against Nintendo related to this issue, or preparation/planning of protests. We feel that allowing protests will reflect poorly on Bulbagarden and lead to a kangaroo court atmosphere. We ask that you refrain from posting protests, link to websites about them, or otherwise try to use this forum as a staging ground or soap box in this issue.
