Thread: A Question Regarding Private Messages

I hope I put this in the right forum.

Say one recieves an unwanted, hateful and nearly threatening PM. What should one do about it?

Report it to the Moderators right away. Just foward it to one of them and they'll take care of it right away, they're here to help ^_^

Now, I don't want anyone getting the wrong idea - at no point was I sent a death threat. It was more of a generally belligerent type of threat if anything.

Getting banned is pretty pointless

You could come back as another member and they'd be none the wiser.

And that wouldn't be a minor inconvenience?
Not to mention there are IP bans for people like that

The admins can just check someone's IP address in that case. People have tried to create sockpuppets before and they've gotten caught.

Also, don't get cocky.

You get a PM that you feel is against the rules? You can report it. Simple as that. Thread closed.
