I'm curious...will there be a post about what you guys look for in a mod? Like, what are some of the "right" answers for the anime mod application for example. I'm thinking that might help the un-chosen applicants get some crit to better themselves for next time, or what to expect.
There have been various blogs on that subject made. I know G-Mama did one recently.

Regardless, you can always talk to the section head of a particular section on why you didn't get in. Though they don't have to give you an answer.
Yeah, I had read G-Mama's entry already. He never really mentioned *what* it takes to be a mod, or what the others look for in a mod. But I will PM a mod for app concrit later on, then. :)

It's a little outdated in some areas now and there are some bits which I personally disagree with (though nothing major) but it'd probably still be useful to read if you're interested.
If there is demand for it, I'd be happy to write my thoughts on the subject (you can like this post to indicate interest), but for me the more important thing to remember during and around the time of staff drives is the third point of my blog linked to above: becoming staff is not the be all and end all.
