weeeee, i love snow *Dances to walking in a winter wonderland*

I've changed some of the settings, please let me know if the snow is still causing issues.

Not a big fan of the new skin, but the on/off switch for the snow is super awesome. Props to who came up with that.

I like the snow, but it causes some load lag. I like to browse pages pretty quickly, so for it to take 5 seconds to load is slightly annoying. Is there a way so it remembers which setting I chose?

The new theme and snow are so cute!! Thank you guys for taking the time to do them :)

I would really like a new green and red (aka more specifically festive) theme though! :P just saying! hehe

Where is the on/off switch and is it permanent? The snow is causing my computer to lag and constantly crash for ~10 seconds everytime I load a new page, so I would like to turn it off :p Nevermind. :p

Edit #2: OK, I found the off switch, but it's still giving me the "Stop Script" thing everytime, even though it's off.

Edit: Archaic, just incase you check back in this thread, here's what the pop-up says everytime I load a new page by clicking a link:

I have to click "Stop Script" on every new page, otherwise it just lags unbelievably. If there's no way to fix this due to it being a problem with my PC, then I'll probably just take leave of the forums until the New Year and have December off. :D

Edit #3: I hate to seem demanding, but my PC won't cope with this, so is it possible for there to be at least one skin which doesn't have the snow? I just posted 6 times in a row because of the complications it's causing. If there's no solution I'm going to be forced to leave the forums until January, which I'd really rather not do, but if there's no alternative I'll have to.

The Snow is causing my laptop to crash/lag. Even when I have it turned off. Is there anyway to permanently get rid of it so the snow doesn't cause these issues? :)

If you're finding that the toggle isn't working, and you're using Firefox 3.6, please try updating. For that matter, regardless of what browser you're using, please try updating. The common factor I'm getting in reports where people have included their specs is that, regardless of if they're using newer or older hardware, that they have an old browser.

For anyone with an AdBlock or script blocker or similar, you can remove the snow by blocking http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/namaless/snowstorm/snowstorm.min.js

Okay, I'll try downloading Google Chrome and see how that fares.

I'd rather have a quick website than little snow, just saying and I love th snow but if it;s causing all this, no thank you love!

FYI: Im experiencing no problems with the snow using Google Chrome. Id recommend trying that browser.

Is there a way to clear the snow from the screen without truning off the snow?

I wonder whether having snow or not can be made a permanent setting via a cookie.

Wow, why are you guys all having issues with the ON/OFF button? Since I've shut it off, it hasn't turned back on. It doesn't matter what I do: refresh pages, visit subforums, log-in/out, etc.
I'm still experiencing lag, though :c

You guys need to get Chrome :thumbup:
