Information for Holiday Contest Prize Winners

FYI:
The final list of prize winners is yet to be published, as some competitions are still judging. When judging has finished, the final list of prize winners will be published to Bulbanews.

Following the publication of that list, I will contact all prize winners to ask for their details. Please do not send me your details before I contact you.

If you know you've won, what you can best do to prepare is make sure you have your parents permission (if required). We've had a few cases where concerned parents didn't want postal address details given out, and those situations tend to muck things up a bit. If you know you're not going to be able to receive the prize, you are allowed to nominate someone else to receive the prize on your behalf. Just make sure that they'll be able to receive the prize themselves, or we'll just have the exact same problem.

Our prizes are generally sent out from Amazon.com. If your prize isn't available from Amazon, or if it is available from Amazon but they don't send to your region, then we will use another merchant which will send to your address. If you know that Amazon.com won't be able to send you your prize (for example, anyone winning a video game who lives outside of North America), we'd appreciate it if you would be able to suggest a merchant who will.

The problem with that though, is customs. For example, in the UK, any item that has a value of more than £18 will receive a charge. If any of the winners are from the UK, I'd recommend waiting until our retailers can accept pre-orders, then doing it that way.

UK winners prizes will usually come from amazon.co.uk, where possible.

When will B/W ship from Amazon? It would be great if the winners got them by the release date or even earlier. Getting it late would be a real bummer though, depending on how much you're anticipating the games.
