A FAQ forum is on the way and we need your input!

I think Blazaking's "How To Use Banners" Guide would be a good thing to have there; I've never really understood why it needed to be tucked into a relatively distant part of the forums.

I think it would be good to include "related" guides. Like if you are looking a a FAQ thread about image limits, there could be links at the end to related FAQ topics like when it's appropriate to use spoilers etc.

Why does this forum copied 'Facebook's Likes system?'
And why does this forum count how many likes you gave? Is that really necessary?
I mean, we are able to like people's posts and Facebook did that first.

You should explain that in the Bulbagarden FAQ.

I think there should be "A Newbie's Guide" included in the new FAQ, you know, like people new to the forums like how to create a album,post pic to that album or post pic(images)to a post....what does the "*" mean when you look at the users who visited your profile page...what does each rule mean in a way that the new user would understand.....Stuff like that....

Thats the reason this FAQ is being made, to help out the newbies. And since you mentioned all that stuff it will most likely be put in the guide.

Explain why posting on certain subforums didn't raise your post count. Some subforums obviously won't count your posts, like the Fun and Games (because then forum game spammers would be considered gods), but I think newbies would have hard times understanding why posting in sections like The War Room don't up their post count.

Maybe a post about how to setup a trade? i've been coming across a few ppl lately who keep asking that question and still need a bit of help after i point them towards the article from the pedia.

(Think like veteran players who think that you still need a link cable to trade, and that they have to plug it into the computer somewhere .______.')

There should be a trolling FAQ.

I think FAQ should cover how can everyone contribute to the community. And there should be a bolded message there: "Don't ask to be a moderator."

An IRC Chat guide would be good, because if I keep trying to figure it out I think I'm gonna break my computer. >_<
And definitely how to resize/post images/videos. I used to have a lot of trouble with that.
