Thread: Was that an April Fools joke?

So, yesterday was April Fools. As I'm sure you've figured out by now, we, at Bulbagarden, like to have fun on April Fools! Just to clarify that a few things were in fact jokes.

1) The rules are NOT changing. The rules are, for time being at least, the same ones as before April Fools. You will be penalised as usual if you break them. (Interesting fact: The rules implemented yesterday were the original rules from when the Forums were first revived in 2003!)

2) Fun & Games will not be closing. This is partly due to the fantastic efforts of the Fun & Games regulars defending their section and partly due to the fact that we were never intending on closing it in the first place.

3) "OTB Management" was not a real staff forum. The 1st April leak was intentional. (The leak of this forum a few days previous to 1st April was NOT intentional, so those users who saw it got a sneak preview!) Additionally, the five users who were added as Outside the Box moderators are not moderators for that section, and, for those of you who were concerned about this, they were also not regular users to begin with.

4) Fokko is not really a poopy head.

If you're unsure about anything not listed above that happened yesterday, feel free to ask here.

How about the Bannana Skin. It's annoying.. And April Fools' Day is over now.

I saw it a few days before. I thought either two things, one Bulba was breaking down or two, i'd been made an OTB mod. I didn't even remember that it was April Fools coming up. I even told Mintaka because I thought it was a glitch. I guess in that sense, I was fooled somewhat.

So I guess the musical thing was April Fools. What a shame. I thought it was, but it would have been nice if it stuck.

I thought the fun and games section closing was just an April Fools gag... I thought it was funny that this was announced on April 1st...

I knew F&G wasn't going. My threat cleared that up obviously. ;P Tis a shame about #4 though..

To be clear, Fun & Games will not be closing. The announcement of its closure was an April Fools' gag.

Indeed. Cursing has been allowed for a very long time. Obviously, you can't curse at people because that constitutes flaming. We'd also prefer it if you didn't do it gratuitously.

....I didn't even see what happened. All I noticed was that the background changed and the Anime section seemed to be gone. What on Earth did I miss?

Oh darn, I missed the thing with the OTB Management forum. XD I bet that was amusing. Oh well, I had a great time. Thank you, staff, for all your hard work this year! You guys really no how to celebrate the internet's favorite holiday!
