Are we %100 convinced they won't get punny English names? I realize that not getting them fits my "They're Lucario Redux" theory, but a little part of me would still be disappointed.

I think instead of a quote, I might just start listing the number of people whose signatures contain quotes by me. My goal is to be in ALL OF THEM.

Yeah, but Nintendo has learned from their previous dubbers. LIke Zoleo is not a good name?

4Kids has never had anything to do with the English Pokemon names. And again, the Pokemon isn't a lion, so "Zoleo" makes absolutely no sense in any way.

Well, that's one name we can cross of the list then.

just like Zorua and Zoroark are. All Pokemon have one.
All Pokemon have their names spelled out in English? Or are you saying something else?

Pretty sure the first scans that revealed them had their names written out in English.

You know Leo does not have to mean Lion. It also means courage and determination. Something Leo has.

The official Romanizations aren't directly used much (if at all) by the games, but they do pop up on merchandise and elsewhere. English is hip, and anything with English (or English-looking) words on it tends to sell (see: photos on Engrish.com of people in East Asian countries proudly sporting T-shirts with curses and other perplexing phrases in English on them).

Yes, all Japanese Pokemon names have an official romanization that's used every time the name is written out in roman letters.
    Here's a random example:

I think they'll stay the same. "Zorua/Zoroark" sound better than "Zolua/Zolark."

Not to mention that going by the roots of the name, it also makes more sense. Changing them into "Zoloa" and "Zoloark" would be the worst romanization ever, just like if they have retained Prasle instead of Plusle.

Exactly why Zoloarc could be possible. R becomes l and k becomes c.

Since you might need it, the trademarks have it that way, too.
