I kind of doubt that - you can also argue that they'll change it to "Zorodark" for that same reason, but that doesn't seem likely. The name origins are sometimes well-hidden, after all.

"Zorro" is spelled ゾロ in Japanese, though, so the origin of that part of the name isn't actually hidden to them at all.
    So.

Yet they still went ahead and used single Rs for the official Romanization, which is a really close indication in this case (because it's a movie Pokémon) of what the English name will look like.

They also used "Prasle" for what we know as Plusle. Your point?
    So.

My point is that every single Pokémon who has been the focus of a movie has had an English name that was exactly the same as their official Japanese Romanization. Zoroark could break the pattern, but it's very doubtful.

Pokemon is serious business indeed. D: Are we seriously arguing over what Zorua and Zoroark are gonna be called in the outside-Japan world?
Signature is a WIP for the moment.
For now, I have claimed: Mewtwo, Member's Card, Wide Lens, Honey Gather, and Psystrike.

    Zoloa-Zoloarc

    Zoroa-Zorrodark

Maybe the latter one will be "Zorark", if it's name gets changed.

While I don't doubt this, where was this used?

In Japan. That's the Japanese name.

I mean the specific media in Japan- a magazine like Coro Coro, or something else?

It's the official Japanese romanization, just like Zorua and Zoroark are. All Pokemon have one.
    So.

I just came up with a good one. Seeing as 4kids turned Rua into Leo, maybe we will get Zoleo.

That makes even less sense, since Zorua is not related to a lion in anyway.

Not to mention that 4Kids has nothing to do with Pokémon English names.

I see Zoroark changing to Zorroark, if anything, but I definitively see Zorua changing to Zoroa, or Zorrua (Not Zorra, that's 'Slut' in Spain)
