Thread: Your "YES!" moments

My biggest and most memorable "yes" moment would have to be when I first defeated Lance and became the Indigo Plateau champion. While the Johto E4 aren't difficult to beat, Lance's Drangonite's kept getting critical hits until I was left with no potions or revives and only my Feraligatr left standing. I finally defeated it but Lance still had 2 pokemon left and only 3hp and very little pp to knock them out. I accepted that I probably was going to lose there and then. However, the Pokegods shone down on me. First he sent out his Charizard and then Aerodactyl, both of whom I destroyed with my last two surf attacks. I felt so proud that, like in the anime gym battles, everything went according to plan and me and Feraligatr prevailed at the last moment to win the battle.

My best ever YESSSSSS moment was when I caught my Emolga after running about for it for at least 3 days! Caught it with a freakin heal ball wasting about 20 regulars!

And when my Tepig evolved into Pignite and then Emboar in 2 days!

My most recent Yes moment was when my lvl 30 Alakazam that I transferred from my Platinum defeated a lvl 49 Audino. With Telekinesis, Disable and Psychic at her disposal, Alakazam could make Audino's only damageable move at this level (Take Down) miss, then disabled as she outspeeds the opponent. And then she proceeded to Psychic-spam, without forgetting to re-disable Take Down when it was available again.

Since she was holding the Lucky Egg and the fact she was transferred over from Platinum, the total amount of EXP she has gotten is too darn high 13950 !! As of this battle, Alakazam is now lvl 34 ! :D

Yesterday, I got a level 74 Haxorus for my level 35 Gabite in my White 2. Soon after that I traded that Haxorus for Zekrom.
So I got Zekrom with Gabite. :D

Finding out the Lugia I got from the Dream Radar has a bold nature. =D

I was delving into the PC boxes on my copy of Pearl, looking for some Pokemon to trade over to Black in order to save another shiny--they wanted a Mewtwo and I had a spare--when I spotted a level 6 Chimchar. Little guy is Lonely and "Likes to fight"; I had literally forgotten it existed. Since I had just boxed my Lucario in B2 and was bereft a Fire type, I knew that I had just solved both problems.

EV training said Chimchar (named Convoy) and watching him evolve. That little fire ape has been kicking all sorts of skidplate. He, Dogū and Loki are absolute murderers.

Shiny starter Totodile after 100~200 SR in my HG rom. I´m Pretty happy about it. I started playing yesterday spending about one hour, and today, I tried another hour. Despite i was trying for a Cyndaquil, a shiny is a shiny.

When I caught a Kangaskhan in the Safari Zone of my FireRed game. I swear, I was dancing for joy. I recently deleted the save file she was on, though. :(

Getting a female Snivy on the first try. I named it Trickster. It is now level 100.

I spot a level 10 Golett holding a Nomel berry on the GTS. I trade for the little guy and get myself another Dream Worlder. A week later, the same Trainer puts another DW Golett up, holding another Nomel berry. I nailed that one too... and this one has a neutral Nature! YES!

(Most of my DW crew have less than stellar Natures. Getting a neutral one was a huge break.)

When I figured out that Zorua wasn't an event pokemon in Black and White 2.

On Emerald, I ran into a Relicanth the first time I dived XDD

Also, catching a Wailmer after failing to fish for at least a hundred times

Female Snivy as my first on White, sweet Medusa's now my vintage.
