Thread: Your "YES!" moments

In Black 2, I wasted 15 Ultra Balls on Volcarona and caught it with my first Poke Ball

Then a couple days ago I caught Cobalion on my first Ultra Ball without paralyzing/putting it to sleep

Mine was when I caught my first shiny. A Timid Gastly with max IVs in Special Attack and Speed.

I have not played 2 yet, but I caught every Legendary in White with the exception of Zekrom quite easily and without more than using more than 5 ultra balls on any single one...seems to me like they made it easier to catch them unless I just had really good luck!

First encounter un Floccasy ranch:..... Riolu!!!!!!. If i were playing a Nuzlocke Challenge, I'm pretty sure it won´t happen

You might be right but it took me 4 or 5 reboots to catch Virizion on this same file so who knows!

It's like how my best friend bragged about how Premier Balls always worked for him when he caught Abras in different games, even though I tell him he's been a lucky one to have caught them without weakening those Pokémons and on the first try. I'd laugh the day he tries to catch a Shiny Abra with a Premier Ball, and fail. Not that I wish this to happen, though. No one would like to miss a shiny Pokémon

So I'm doing the Magnemite trading thing on GTS to help boost my Join Avenue and nab a couple of the little twerps. I take a look at them and one makes me do a double-take: someone sent me their Dream Worlder, complete with a Quiet Nature. Oh yeah, I kept that one and caught another for trading purposes.

Well, I caught Volcarona in the frist try with Great Ball in White2

Finding Mamoswine...and learning Metagross can be found in the Giant Chasm in Black 2 (figured out Metagross was there due to the habitat checker anyway)

EDIT: Oh even better...though it was more of an LOLWUT? reaction...catching Terrakion...WITH A DIVE BALL

My omg Yes moment
Breeding a 4 max stated female Eevee with a 29 (Hp) and 26 (was in Atk) in the other two stats. Plus a Timd nature. Outside RNGed and haxed I dout a more naturally talented Jolteon exists.


My karma lvls out moment
I got a shiny Stunfisk while EV training....not a Litwick which I spent three times as long killing.... a Stunfisk.
Oh and its nature was 10% extra speed. Know the base speed of a stunfisk 35.......sigh

I'm doing the Magnemite chain again on GTS and see one in Canada, holding Mail. The Trainer wants a Magnemite in return so I trade. When the Magnemite plops in front of me, I do a double-take.

It's a freaking shiny. With a Modest Nature. Oh yeah, kept that one too.

Catching Terrakion And Virizion (not sure about the spelling there in REGULAR POKEBALLS in Black 2.

Looking at your Zekrom's summary and seeing the Pokerus symbol next to it's name. :D

Today, it was me finally finding my way out of Chargestone Cave in Black 2. I kept getting lost in there. XD

Finding the Pokémon you've been breeding for a while get a good nature and gender.
