Thread: Your "YES!" moments

-Lucking out with a Shiny Electrike in the Johto Safari Zone
-Quick Balls and Roaming Pokémon
-21 straight wins in Battle Tower!

When I walked into Route 1 for the first time in HeartGold and had nostalgia rush/nerdgasm. That was a YES!!! moment for me.

-Catching a shiny Relicanth in Emerald
-Catching Giratina in a Pokeball in Platinum

Catching my first shiny just after deciding to fight those nobody trainers between Pacifidlog and Ever Grande and coming across a Tentacool, which took 3 Repeatballs but was well worth it (though it's not the first shiny I encountered, and this doesn't include the Gyarados). I almost kissed my GBA.

Then, easy legendary catches, and... that's about it. Oh, and when I leveled up my Spoink and Snorunt (the last 2/4 missing on my FR a long time ago) rechallenging the E4, and they both got just the right amount of EXP needed to evolve. 386 on two GBA games, baby.

But there are far more horror stories on my games than there are good ones.

When I found my Croagunk, Lucky.

I used to think they were only obtainable in the Great Marsh. After not seeing one on the binoculars, I gave up for a bit and decided to train my Tangela on the grass outside of Pastoria. (Near Route 212 I believe) I was in shock when I saw a little Croagunk in the grass. I freaked, and was lucky enough to have enough Poke Balls to catch him. :D

well most recent... beating rival with one hp left... the biggest aw crap after that... forgetting to save.

-Catching Latias with one quick ball
-Catching Regice after two ultraballs
-Catching Articuno with one dusk ball
-Finding two shiny gastlys in a row

And though my ExtremeSpeed Dragonite doesn't have perfect IVs all-around, it does have an attack of 358 as seen from the trainer memo screens.

Naturally these are my two crown jewels. I mean, these are two pseudo-legendaries with base stats highly slanted toward attack in most cases!

Giratina agaisnt my last Pokemon left- the HM slave, Bibarel at lvl 28. One last poke ball left. Giratina uses Ancient Power! Bibarel survives! Poke ball throw! Giratina get! I literally yelled YES! at the screen.

Catching my Shiny Golbat in SS and beating Red in HG with a team of lvl 65s. Good times indeed :)
