Thread: Your "YES!" moments

Having Gothitelle finally take down N's Zekrom, despite Gothitelle being far out-classed by Zekrom.

Granted, it did result in a draw...Gothitelle ended up getting done in by Zekrom, and with only a sliver of HP left, Zekrom got finished off by Future Sight immediately afterwards. Ah, if only Gothitelle's speed stat was better...then my pattern of Reflect+Future Sight+Psychic might have been more effective. (Not only that, but I did reset a few times before this happened.)

Not the smartest match-up, I know, but...yay?

Whenever I land a Reverse Falcon Punch in Brawl.

One day, I managed to land a critical hit with Fire Fang and somehow managed to give a Burn Status ailment AND a flinch to the opponent. It was in a Battle Simulator however, and my opponent had ragequitted, calling me a haxxor.

EDIT : Just recalled this now, when I confronted Cynthia in Pokémon White for the first time. My strongest Pokémon was at lvl 55, while her Spiritomb is at lvl 75 in the battle. I managed to PPwaste her Garchomp with my Throh (he's the man of the team) and thanks to my 200+ Hyper Potions and 100+ Revives, I managed to defeat her at last. My reaction after the fight :

capturing a lv. 37 shiny meinfoo while my excadrill was in lv. 75 with two timer balls!! Such intense moment!! xD
*the two timer balls were the only pokeballs that i had in my bag...*

When I beat Red on the first try in Soul Silver :o

I used every single Poke Ball I had on a wild Metagross in Black. The very last one, an ordinary Poke Ball, was the one that captured it.

I danced around after Nurse Joy told my character on Ruby about pokerus!

Every time I catch a legendary pokémon with any pokéball other than a Masterball, I'd dance around my room because of it, because it feels so good to get it right WITHOUT the Masterball. :D

The first Egg from my starting Samurott produced a female. Nihiko, <3

Funny thing is, when I got the Pokérus in Gold for the very first time, I cried because I thought my Pokémons were going to die. Then I restarted the game.

To stay on-topic, another "YES" moment of mine was I found out Aggron could get the Head Smash move via breeding in HGSS. :D

Catching all 3 of my shinies- numel in emerald, duduo in leaf green and golbat in soul silver. Wish I still had them all. (Right now, I've only got the shiny golbat I caught last night- although, as a fan of poison types, I couldn't be happier :D) [edit- of course there's also the red gyarados from my original silver and, now, my soul silver but I don't really count them]

Elite Four Champion, shes on her last pokemon, i have my graveler and a rapidash thats only got 1hp, i use selfdestruct on my graveler.

I lower them to about an 16th of their health, and i send out my rapidash, the champions pokemon wants to attack but the rapidashes quick claw kicks in. BAM! finished.

TL;DR: I beat the final champions pokemon with a seldestruct, then a quick clawed fire blast.

Oh, I forgot another YES! moment I had in the past. A long time ago, I caught an Elekid in Pearl... And it was holding an Electirizer. An Elekid holding that is rarer in Pearl than in Diamond too. So I was definitely going "Yes, yes, yes!" there. I evolved it to an Electivire, of course. :]

About a week ago, I hatch a Golett, normal colored. He's Brave Natured with Iron Fist. I head to the judge in Nimbasa for the heck of it. The little bugger's outstanding. His Attack was perfect (which I already knew as his Golurk father is holding the Power Bracer) but his Special Attack...

It was equally good. I have never had the judge say anything like that about any of my hatchlings. It's always been that the second stat is "good" not "equally good".

Oh yeah, I saved that one. I didn't even wait to get to the Pokemon Center; I saved right then and there. He's holding Leftovers and will get a Pokerus infection after I get my shiny, whenever that will be.
