Chasing Latios. Went half the summer, and then...

Ultra Ball. Caught at Route 113, LV40 on July 16th, 2004. My brother was sick that day. I remember it vividly.

The first time I ever went up against the Pokemon League in Blue. My Rival is down to Charizard, my Venusaur, used one last Struggle against it, bringing Charizard to the red, while knocking out Venusaur. I'm all out of healing items, and my lvl 35 Snorlax is the only one left. Charizard's Slash misses, and Snorlax takes it out with Surf. I literally shrieked with joy.

When I started Pearl for the first time and found a shiny Shinx immediately after getting my first Poké Balls.

When I tried to help get my brother through Mt. Coronet and found a shiny Golbat.

The day I finally completed the National Pokédex in Diamond (subsequently ruined by the realization that you don't actually get anything other than a "thank you" for doing it... )

Somehow making it to Palmer and beating him with a terrible team. My offensive capabilities consisted entirely of Dark (on two different Pokémon), Psychic (two on the same Pokémon), Normal, Fighting, and Dragon moves. That's it. Somehow my Umbreon managed to Protect-Confuse Ray-Assurance its way to a KO on Milotic; Blizzard, which actually hit EVERY SINGLE TIME, miraculously never froze me. After that Lucario took took care of Dragonite but got killed by Rhyperior's Earthquake before it could use Aura Sphere; Latias got a critical hit on Psychic and I won. (My streak ended halfway to facing him a second time, unfortunately).

CATCHING MEWTWO IN HG. I beat Red with a couple of TMs and Mewtwo! Woot!

Hatching a shiony Dratini with Masuda Method. THOSE DRAGON EGGS TAKE FOREVER!!!! EVEN WITH A FLAME BODY POKEMON

When I caught all available legendaries using only poke balls.

when i ko'ed palmers milotic. with a togekiss. milotic flinched every single time (5x)

when i was catching mewtwo i ran out of ultraballs. so i had to chucka pokeball and ding i caught mewtwo in a pokeball. i crushed my brother to death with joy

Beating Palmer today with my Weavile and Azumarill, the first two Pokémon I ever EV trained.

when my plan for bugsy failed, and all i had was a level 4 mareep and a lv 15 quilava with 5? hp and he had scyther. I send mareep out to save quilava a turn. "Scyther used u-turn, Mareeps static paralyzed scyther" take that! I jumped up and cheered

Finding a Shiny is a mega YES moment.

i heard catching registeel in emerald was difficult.........i went to it...
when the battle started a threw a pokeball and got it....i had nothing to say but"hell yell"
