In Gold I had found a wild Rattata, but thought there was a glitch in the game. I attempted to catch it, but all my Pokemon at the time were around level 40 and the Rattata was around level 10. I KO'd it.
Like everyone else, my first shiny was the Red Gyarados. But the first one I accually caught was a gold Poochyena in Emerald a couple weeks ago. I remember freaking out over it for, like, an hour('cause I didn't know you can accually catch shinies) then I caught a shiny Abra later that day. I've yet to encounter another, but hopefully I will someday.
Of the games that have alternate colored-Pokémon, I've played through Gold a few times, Ruby once or twice, part of Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, part of LeafGreen, XD, and I've never even RUN INTO one, much less caught one. Red Gyarados, of course, is the exception.
my cousin caught a shining groundon, so in ur face... we can take a pic, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
rofl, the way he words that sounds like deceptive gloating >:0Originally Posted by Unregistered
I honestly can't remember what my first was. I know I had ONE before the shiny Gyarados that most people caught as their first, but I have a hard time remembering back then =/
Please, donate to my Zangoose avatar collection so I can get a decent avatar.
I changed my user name to shining pokemon freak.
Yeah, same here. Why does everyone else get all the good luck?Originally Posted by Argy

Because growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional.
