Something that I find to be staggering on some places are that some people go way out of their way to get themselves some shiny Pokémon. They most often reset their games frequently or have way too many encounters to keep track of, especially when it comes to legendariese or starters. Frankly, with the odds of finding a shiny Pokémon at 1/8416 (I don't know if this is the actual odds of finding a shiny, correct me if I'm wrong,) I see the occupation of hunting shinies to be a one-way trip towards insanity, & thus getting a ticket into an asylum.
& even if one does find a shiny Pokémon, what's the difference between the same Pokémon that isn't shiny? Aside from the different colors, absolutely nothing. It baffles me that there are actually people out there that hunt shiny Pokémon. Can someone please enlighten me as to why people hunt shinies??
