Thread: What's up with no Generation 3 Remakes???

Seriously? After the success of the Gen 1 & Gen 2 remakes, ones for Gen 3 sounded like an almost inevitable no brainer for its 10th anniversary. But here we are, nothing's happened and it looks like it's not going do.

What gives? The shortness of the Gen 5? The extra work done for Black2/White2? Getting Gen 6 ready for a first day international release? The big differences between versions (Pokemon RSE by ~In-The-Machine on deviantART) ?

I know it ain't no big thang in the long run, I'm just curious why they didn't go a direction it kinda looked like they'd go in.

The discussion of Generation 3 remakes has been around for a while. I'm sure Game Freak has a reason for everything they do, new games or no new games.
