Thread: What is your favorite and least favorite starter Pokemon

Favourite: Snivy- it's based on snake and i like it's every evolution
Least fav.:Totodile-I hate it in every way

I agree with the posts above.

Although I have nothing against Totodile, but Croconaw and Feraligatr are damn ugly.

Totodile and Bulbasaur are pretty bad as well.

fav:charmander.cause he can learn dragon type attack when he became a charizard.
least fav:chikorita.do i need to explain?

Favorite - Cyndaquil, was my first Pokemon so it will always remain my favorite.
Least favorite - Chikorita, Turtwig, and Snivy equally. Aside from Treecko and Bulbasaur, I haven't really liked Grass starters that much.

Favourite: Turtwig, it slows down after evolution but I love its design.
Least Favourite: Chimchar, it just doesn't look like a Fire-type to me.

Favorites: Bulbasaur, Tepig & Chimchar all tied on first place. They look awesome and I like the typing and ways they can work.
Semi favs: Squirtle, Oshawott, Treecko
Not ranked exatly ranked: Piplup, Turtwig, Charmander, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Torchic, Mudkip
ROCK BOTTOM: Chikorita & Snivy...The fandom killed Snivy for me...And Chikorita was never useful for me...

And all you Chiorita fanatics: ...Just shuuuuuuuuut uuuup....
I said it doesn't work with MY playstyle...If you like it go ahead and use it but be quiet...

Favourite: Chikorita. It may not be the strongest starter but it has its uses. Plus it has a really cute design. Piplup and Oshawott are great as well.
Least Favourite: Charmander, I just don't really like it's design, I'm not really fond of any Fire type starters anyway, apart from Torchic.

I really like Chikorita.... but it does really suck.

Anyway, my all-time favorite is Bulbasaur. Not even for the nostalgia factor. I just find it a fairly bulky, powerful pokemon.

My least favorite was Totodile, just because, but then Tepig came along. ANOTHER fire/fighting starter? I know Game Freak has resorted to making ice cream cone pokemon, but they can't be THAT out of ideas!

Favourite: Charmander.

Least: Chikorita. Most of the grass types, really. I've never gone for them.

Despite the fact that I feel that Fire type starters are extremely overrated, my favorite starter Pokémon has to be Cyndaquil. I just loved playing through Johto with that Fire Mouse. I like its color scheme too; it makes it look like its part Dark-type. I usually go for water starters, except for Oshawott, which brings me to my least favorite starter. Oshawott just doesn't look appealing to me. It's evolutions are pretty okay, though.

Favorite: Cyndaquil and Chimchar. The former because nostalgia and stuff (First starter in a serious run-through. I was very young when I played LeafGreen, so that Charmander doesn't count) and the latter because, well, I like fire and I like monkeys. Strangely, I don't like the Mankey line and the Pansear line, so I think it's the only fire monkey done right.

Least Favorite: Chikorita. Ugh, so unremarkable it hurts. And I just don't like the design.

Favorites. CHARMANDER, BULBASAUR, PIKACHU, CHIKORITA (take that haters), TURTWIG ( hate it evolutions though), OSHAWOTT, MUDKIP (even though i have yet to make a play though with one), and my least favorite favorite is SQUIRTLE


Starters i hate: Anyone not mentioned on the list above.

Favorites - Charmander and Snivy. I'm actually not a big fan of Charmander and Charmeleon, but I love Charizard (I know it's overrated, but I can't help it). I also think Snivy's line is cool-looking.

Least favorites - Tepig and Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur's line has always come across as bland and uninteresting to me, and Tepig's line is just plain ugly in my opinion.

hard choice in fact its too hard to decide unless i split it gen wise (and even then its hard)

gen 1 fave: squirtle first ever mon (fr) and probably my favourite water starter
gen 1 least liked: bulbasaur cant say its bad but never grew on me

gen 2 fave: cyndiquil just so cute
gen 2 least liked:chikorita just...well rubbish

gen 3 fave: tie all of them are either too cute/epic/amazing too not like
gen 3 least liked: none

gen 4 fave: turtwig looks so cute and its evos are so badass
gen 4 least liked: empoleon from the game point never liked it then when i watched the anime that didnt help much

gen 5 fave: snivy the only decent gen 5 starter albiet still not amazing
gen 5 least liked: oshawott and tepig not their fault as such but their evos are just...
