Thread: What will you name your player in DPPt, HGSS, BW

What will you name your main character in the following games:

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White

Tell us the names you would use if you play as a male character and what names would you use if you played as a female?

Please include your game when you reply and names for your character (names must be between 1-7 letters, numbers etc.)

Hunter. For every single one.
For the female? Probably Illea. Also for all of them.


I'm simple when it comes to things like that.

I always play as a girl named Mikey. Without fail.

It's just kind of become habit at this point. XD

In Diamond, I named my player Matt. (after myself)

In Platinum, I played as Dawn and named her Hikari (original I know)

In HeartGold I was Kobe (in honor of my character from Gold, named after one Kobe Bryant)

In B/W when I get it, I'll be Skip most likely (my nickname from my friends)

I always name ALL of my characters Bronson, because one time before starting a new game, I was watching Death Wish.

Both genders, Terr. Because that's my name.

All male, all my real name. Which I do not wish to disclose.

I usually use JoJo, my real nickname, for my first female playthrough, and if I fancy it, I'll play through in the other game or restart with a team based on those of related characters. For example, when I got bored of playing through Diamond, I restarted, named my character Platina and tried to use her team to get a different dynamic.

I never play as the male character - after years of wishing I didn't have to play as guys in my favourite games so much, I pretty much automatically use female characters whenever possible.

I nearly always use a male character, and almost always use my real name.

EDIT: if I were to choose a girl I think I would use Katy

My name is Taio in every games, no matter what the gender is.

Nowadays, I always play as a female named Rachel; even on the old games where you had to be a male I named myself Rachel.

I always pick the female in every pokemon game and I name her Hikari because that's the name of my original roleplay character (Hikari Shizuki.) In Diamond though I called the girl Dawn because when I got it back then I didn't create Hikari yet xP

I always use the male character and name him David (my name)

I always name him after me (Anthony).
The exception to this rule is one of my HG files, where I named him after my sister, since I did in the original Gold.
