I hate how easy they go on you in gen IV and V.
Like if you kill a legendary, it'll be back once you beat the Elite Four. Seriously? In Gen I, II, and III, if you killed it, you were DONE. It wasn't coming back. It's called saving before you battle.

At any rate, I do agree that it's trivial and can be done away with. I'm just trying to find an in-universe reason for it's existence. I tend to do that.

And that reminds me I never finished rewriting that Pokemon Evolution paper.
Understandable. A lot of things in Pokemon aren't really explained, so it does make sense to want to answer those kinds of questions yourself.

Oh gosh yes. I wouldn't call it "trivial" because it does serve the purpose of easing up the difficulty, but it does drive me crazy. I don't think there's any reason for the games to be made any easier than they already are. I was okay with poison wearing off, but legendaries coming back after being defeated was too much for me.

Yes. After a certain number of stars, she'll say only one line of dialog, and then the "YES/NO" option box will appear.

The item limit in Ruby/Sapphire of 20 different items in the item section. Ruby/Sapphire because it becomes very noticeable- and it was before the addition of a medicine section in the bag too. I can't really remember was it that bad in RBY and GSC either, or if it changed in Emerald, so just in RS for me.

I HATE that they got rid of the separate ball bag in BW! Why did they do that? I cannot possibly fathom a single reason for them to make the bag LESS organized.

For now I don't have any annoying trivial things in the game to talk about, but I think the fact I can't buy 500 coins in the R/S/E or D/P/P Game Corners a lot of times in a row without the seller constantly greeting me again is somewhat annoying. In G/S/C you could buy packs of 500 coins in the Game Corner in a few seconds, why not in R/S/E and D/P/P ?

Ugh, tell me about it. It's dicey even with the Everstone trick.

Even worse? Trying to reset for a Mystery Gift Pokemon with a decent Nature and decent IVs. That's an hour I spent in front of the delivery guy, just trying to get a good Zekrom. (It did work out in the end--I finally nailed a Brave Zekrom with "relatively superior" potential. I knew if I tried for anything better, I'd just go crazy.)

Another minor thing that bugs me: the inability to pass down Abilities. We have the Everstone trick for Natures, why can't we get a hold item that can pass a parent's Ability to the child? I've lost count of how many Goletts I've hatched that are outstanding, but have a Klutz chaser. There are far fewer that have great potential who possess Iron Fist and it irritates me to no end.

The old man in Viridian City is also annoying. The day that you visit Viridian City for the first time, he's blocking the northern part because he hasn't had his coffee.

I also hate roaming Pokemon in Gen II and III. The only way to even find them in the first place is to blindly visit a route and hope that you can find Entei/Raikou/Suicune/Latios/Latias there in the grass. And. It. Takes. For. Ever!!!!!!

I don't think that alot of children would think of that. Game might be easy fer you, but it might not fer some other people, ya know. Not tryn' to be offence if here.

I does suck that you can't use the Flutes any more. Ya can only sell 'em.
