The fact that when the text is at full speed you don't have enough time to read what trainers say when you defeat them.

I've missed half of the text from Pokémon Black because I'm not paying attention to the trainer and then the text disappears forever, unread. Oh well, at least they weren't saying anything important. :P

In Generation I, quite a few things drove me crazy... The amount of coins needed for Porygon, the fact that Charizard can't learn Fly, having to deposit a Pokémon before I can see which Pokémon are in which box...

In Black, the freaking wild encounter rate seems WAY jacked up...

Baby Pokemon aren't entirely pointless. oAo Some are for balance reasons: Munchlax and Happiny are certainly for keeping Chansey and Snorlax out of Little Cup, for example.
Nah, Snorlax at least is out of Little Cup anyway. No evolution.
But Baby Pokémon do have uses. Like Pre-Evo moves where it wouldn't make sense for the evolved Pokémon to learn them.

The fact that tutorials are forced upon you. Why not make them optional?

It was at its worst in FRLG. Having to go through the controls and then they show us an essay about the Pokemon world, and there is no way to bypass it. Ugh...

What about the Teachy TV? Surely that's the best, most useful key item evar.

The weakness of moves despite the fact that over half of them would realistically be fatal.

Hydro Pump isn't a TM, yet Solar Beam and Fire Blast are. Not fair.

When in the other games Nurse Joy would say "We hope to see you again" so, you like when my Pokemon get beaten so bad that I need to take them to you to be healed? >_>

Random encounters (Same goes for all RPGS really). I don't need to get interrupted by a weak Pokemon I already have just because I dared to try and go somewhere. If Repels didn't exist, I'd probably have given on up the series.

Still the Unova Champion in my book.

In Generation V, badges are not required for HM's to be used outside of battle. It made the games more challenging when you had to get badges to use them.

    The tutorials not being optional

Having to carry everything in the bag. It's so painful to scroll through the list to find what I need - I wish they added search funcions for that.

It's better that you can actually see her and heal your pokémon than... see them die on the field, I know it doesn't happen in the games, but...
