Pokemon is already terribly easy. I'm just thinking for the better of the games, is all. I'm sure the children who play these games know how to utilize the save feature, so having legendaries "revive themselves" just seems so pointless, when all it does is dumb the game down more.
Tutorial mode. You should have the option of skipping the demonstration on how to catch a pokemon, etc, AND ACTUALLY SKIP IT. Not "Screw you, I'm telling you anyway!"
This is very trivial, but I noticed yesterday that the character in Pocket Monsters White stood with her feet turned inward, so her toes meet and this made her look very fat. That's the overworld sprite; on the trainer card she doesn't look like that. Then, I noticed that a lot of other sprites also stood with their toes pointing inward, making them look fatter than they should. Are these people nervous or do they just have a need to pee? I've heard that if you point your toes in toward each other you want home and if you point them out you want away, but that's more a saying, so it isn't always true. Yet, I wonder what the spriters wanted to express with this behaviour. More than anything, it makes the characters seem unsure of themselves.
The fact that when you start the game there is no way to tell whether or not names and things will be capitalised throughout the rest of the game... and then getting it wrong.
The fact that there isn't an "Ultra Fast" text speed.
Not so much a trivial thing, but Generation II's and IV's colossal dependence on previous generations (monster-wise anyways) irritates the heck outta me.
The "How to catch a Pokemon" is there for new players, not those of us who are use to the method. And they don't take that long to sit through, only a few seconds, so adding an entire option to skip them is pretty pointless. Now, if it took like 5-10 minutes, then maybe they could.
Prof. Juniper teaching you how to heal your Pokémon in BW. I realise some newcomers might need to know, but she could have asked if I needed to know.
Who's Joey?
Trivial things I don't like... every time you start Black and White it asks if you want to use the C-Gear. I don't know what the point is... it's not like you'd ever need the C-Gear in normal gameplay. And if you do happen to need it, there's an on button for it. It gets so annoying pressing No and then Yes every time the game starts up... and sometimes I'll mess up and do No No and then it repeats the question... extremely annoying... or I'll accidentally press Yes and have to go through the trouble of turning it off so it doesn't wear down the charge any faster than normal.
Also PC boxes... R scrolls to the next box. L doesn't scroll to the previous box. It should. Unless it does and my DS is just broken, but L doesn't do anything for me.
The dependence of Black and White on WiFi and the Internet, and how they're not as fun as GIII or GIV. Also, the routes are so short in them.
This might not be so trivial but the design and content in towns in Unova seem really lacking, especially when compared to Castelia City.
for me is the jumping out of the ball part! SO slow, when he makes this move, than the ball flies a bit, than the poke jumps out! I wanna battle for COL
Being unable to walk in more than 4 directions.
Not being able to run at the beginning of the game. Why is it physically impossible to run in normal shoes? Are there chains wrapped around my feet?
