Please no more sequals like BW2 or third games like Emerald, Platinum.....
Why in the hell would you want less games?

Though, based on what we have so far, I actually prefer third versions to sequels.

This. I have no problem with either, but I much prefer 3rd versions. BW2 felt too similar to each other imo, to the point where they could've just made a third version that covered everything.

....That, and I'm a cheapskate, and I like to buy all the games. 2 sequels doesn't work out for my pockets ¬_¬

Third versions and sequels are all we have as of yet, unless you're hoping GameFreak will come up with another new idea, you'll have to live with what you've got. I don't see what's wrong with receiving more games anyway, I would have assumed most Pokemon players would enjoy receiving a new game, whether it be a new generation, or a remake/third version/sequel.
To be fair, third versions are kind of pointless. I hope they stick with sequels.
I don't believe they are pointless, although I do agree with sequels. Third versions are nice, however, sequels are more different than just updated third versions. I do hope we see more sequels this generation.

The thing with sequels is that there are just some minor improvements. Look at the improvements alone and what you've got isn't even near a full game. It's just the same old with a little extra. It feels like a waste of money to buy but the prequel and the sequel when the sequel only adds so little.

So I would rather wait for sequels to be released and just buy that instead of the prequel.
One drawback is that those who played the prequel have a big head start.

Third versions can be replaced with paid DLC, which is something I personally hope happens. Making the same game again with only minor changes and/or added content like new areas and such is rather pointless in the age of today. Such things are treated as DLC.

They can come up with something completely different for the "Z game". Or, they won't make it at all.

I'll admit that BW2 was a poorly handled sequel, especially in terms of regional design and Pokedex distribution. Mid game (from Castelia to Mistralton) was especially weak in terms of changes made, considering it was basically a retread of the same section in BW1 with similar Pokemon distribution. It would've been more worthwhile had the changes in storyline path been more radical, for instance if we'd have gone to Mistralton early in the game or Southeast Unova mid game or something. I think that combined with the new storyline makes the sequels worth it. That's why I say it's only the third versions that are pointless, because what little changes they make in those can indeed be satisfied with DLC, but sequels have enough leeway to make the game a very different experience.

UNSKIPPABLE TUTORIALS. DEAR ARCEUS, FEWER UNSKIPPABLE TUTORIALS.

Besides that, fewer people who all own the same Pokemon (I'm looking at you, elemental monkey trainers), fewer Normal-types, and fewer times when the player feels that the game is too linear.
I have claimed: Staraptor (01/12/13), Shiny Stone (02/12/13), and Limber (02/12/13).

I'd like to see less legendaries. The two already confirmed plus Mewtwo's new form and maybe like five more legendaries would be a perfect amount, in my opinion.
Less HMs - I think everyone would agree here.
Less Pokéballs - There's just too many different types for me to keep track of nowadays.

Finally, less Geodude, Tentacool, and Zubat.

Great. Enjoy seeing tons of Roggenrola, Frillish, and Woobat.

I don't know about you but I did enjoy seeing Woobat, didn't mind Frillish or Roggenrola either (though the latter having Sturdy was a mild annoyance). The one thing I didn't like seeing so often was Basculin. Especially Adaptability Basculin. Using Aqua Tail. In the rain.

Speaking of roggenrola, fewer pokes with sturdy. It's so fucking annoying since they reworked it. Shot pokemon manage to live just because of the focus sash ability. If they don't try on that ability, I'd love to see them give it to far fewer pokemon that are common as shit.

It does seem particularly common ... Let's crunch the usage:

    - Used by 32 Pokemon, in 17 evolutionary families
    - ...14 of which are readily found in the wild
    - 23 of these Pokemon are (at least partly) Rock; 6 Ground; and 12 Steel
    - All but 2 Pokemon (Relicanth and Regirock) have the ability normally

I'm actually interested in seeing Rock type gyms abuse the hell out of Sturdy, it'd make for a more challenging experience than what we usually see from Rock type gyms.

What was more annoying about Basculin was that was basically the only Pokemon you could find in Unova's rivers.

Personally, I agree that we could use fewer legendary Pokemon and fewer Pokemon forms in generation VI. Scaling back on these two critical aspects will, in my opinion, make Pokemon a lot more enjoyable. I would also like to see the developers focus on creating original Pokemon lines instead of new evolutions to older Pokemon. We don't really need to have our childhood modernized every new generation do we? I mean, I like a few of the new evolutions but still, I would like to see more original Pokemon in X and Y.

Y'know, with the exception of Espeon and Umbreon I haven't really liked ANY higher evolutions of Pokemon from previous generations. Ever. And G4 really overdid it in that respect.
